With more and more easy Trophy games being released, it is refreshing to have a challenging Platinum to strive for, and Sifu’s easy mode should not take that away. While difficulty levels could absolutely turn out to be a good addition, Trophies unlocking in easy mode is simply unfair to those that spent hours grinding to get the game’s Age 25 Trophy. It would be a shame to see Sifu’s Platinum Trophy lose value, and for players to have an easier path to said Platinum. However, Sloclap disabling Trophies in easy mode would be a decent compromise. Sifu’s difficulty is part of what makes it special, so taking that away is guaranteed to bother as many players as it pleases. For better or worse, Sloclap has confirmed that harder and easier settings are on the way, and nothing can be done to change that. There are great cases to be made for both sides, but Sifu players need to accept that a difficulty option is coming. Im waiting for that to be added will the pick it up. They said they will be adding an easy mode just not sure when. Itll fall into place and no easy mode will be needed.
